Andreas Weber
Biography
Andreas Weber studied piano at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. An active concert career as a soloist and chamber musician has taken him throughout Europe and Asia, including performances with the Trio Cartellieri and in duo with the violinist Albert Fischer.
He has given numerous masterclasses at music universities in Seoul and Gwangju, as well as at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, and in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Belgium.
Since 2002, Andreas Weber has been teaching piano at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. In 2005, he became director of the Leopold Mozart Institute, where he is dedicated to nurturing young talents in their artistic development and supporting them through international concert activities.
