🔹 About Ilya Grubert
Winner of the prestigious Paganini Competition in Genoa and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Ilya Grubert studied under legendary teachers such as Yuri Yankelevich, Zinaida Gilels, and Leonid Kogan in Moscow. His career as a soloist has led him to perform with renowned orchestras, including the Moscow Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Dresden Staatskapelle, and Vienna Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of conductors like Mariss Jansons, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, and Maxim Shostakovich.
He has performed on the world’s greatest stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York, and his recordings for RCA, Naxos, Chandos, and Channel Classics have been highly acclaimed. Currently, he is a professor at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, mentoring talented students across Europe.
