Henri Sigfridsson, born in 1974, has performed on major European stages, including the Tonhalle Zürich, Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Philharmonies of Cologne, Budapest, and St. Petersburg. He won the Beethoven Competition Bonn in 2005, receiving the first prize, audience prize, and chamber music prize. As a soloist, he has collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy and Sakari Oramo. Currently, he is a professor of piano at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
