In conjunction with the International Piano Junior Competition, we are delighted to invite you to an exclusive piano masterclass with Veronika Salikhova. This masterclass is aimed at young pianists and advanced students who wish to deepen their technical skills and artistic interpretation under the guidance of an internationally renowned concert pianist and pedagogue.
Veronika Salikhova is a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, where she studied piano with Prof. Nina Seregina. She performs regularly as a soloist and ensemble musician in Saint Petersburg and internationally, including concerts in Poland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland.
She is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the International Savshinsky Competition (St. Petersburg), the International Pianists’ Competition “Executive Without Borders” (Poland), the International “Mozart Wunderkind” Competition (Austria), the Stockholm International Music Competition (Sweden), and the International Beethoven Chamber Music Competition (Poland). She was also awarded the title of Best Piano Accompanist at the V Governor International Youth Gavrilin Competition (Vologda) and the International Competition “Planet of Talents” (St. Petersburg).
Her artistic development has been further enriched through masterclasses with renowned musicians such as A. Schiff, A. Diev, V. Brons, H. Berndsen, N. Cassidy-Polera, and E. Sinaiski. Since 2018, she has been teaching piano and accompaniment at the Anton Rubinstein Music Academy.
