We are delighted to welcome renowned pianist and professor Florence Millet for an exclusive piano masterclass in Düsseldorf.
Each participant will receive a 45-minute private lesson and benefit from the experience and artistic vision of one of Europe’s most inspiring musicians.
About Florence Millet
Florence Millet has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician on major stages across Europe, the Americas, and China. She has worked with leading conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Heinz Holliger, Charles Dutoit, and Julia Jones, and performed with ensembles like the Jack Quartet, Quatuor Danel, and the Lions Gate Trio, which she co-founded.
Her award-winning recordings span historical and contemporary piano repertoire, including works by Ligeti, Satie, Bach, Janáček, Fauré, Saariaho, and Feldman (labels include Deutsche Grammophon, CPO, ARS). A long-time member of the Ensemble Intercontemporain, she has collaborated with composers such as Elliott Carter, Luciano Berio, Steve Reich, and Jörg Widmann.
She currently serves as Professor of Piano at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT) and is the Managing Director of the Wuppertal campus. In addition to her teaching and performing, she leads innovative music projects and contributes to international music education through masterclasses, festivals, and radio broadcasts.
