Renowned flutist Leonid Grudin will be offering an exclusive two-day audition masterclass at the Anton Rubinstein Music Academy in Berlin, focusing on both flute and piccolo repertoire.
Leonid Grudin studied flute with Prof. Jean-Michel Tanguy at the Mannheim State Academy of Music from 1990 to 1995, graduating as an orchestral musician. He further pursued his artistic education, earning a diploma in artistic training in 1998 and a diploma in concert performance in 2001 under Prof. Maxence Larrieu.
Since 2002, Leonid Grudin has been the solo piccolo flutist at the Deutsche Staatsoper under the direction of Daniel Barenboim. Throughout his distinguished career, he has performed with some of the world’s leading orchestras, including:

In addition to his extensive orchestral experience, Leonid Grudin has been teaching piccolo flute at the Hanns Eisler School of Music since 2017 and has served as a flute lecturer at the Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy in Berlin since 2016.
This masterclass is designed for advanced flutists who want to refine their technique and interpretation under the guidance of an internationally acclaimed musician. Participants will receive two individual lessons, focusing on both solo and orchestral repertoire.
