Masterclass for Piano with Prof. Naum Grubert

Join us for an inspiring piano masterclass with the internationally renowned pianist and professor Naum Grubert. This course offers advanced pianists the opportunity to refine their technique, deepen their musical interpretation, and receive expert artistic guidance from a distinguished performer and pedagogue.

Each active participant will receive one individual lesson with Prof. Naum Grubert.

This masterclass is offered in connection with the International Piano Junior Competition 2027 and is open to both participants of the competition and other interested pianists who wish to further develop their performance skills and artistic expression. The course provides an excellent opportunity for professional feedback, intensive musical work, and artistic inspiration.

About Naum Grubert

Born in Riga in 1951, Naum Grubert studied in Moscow and gained international recognition after winning Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in Montreal in 1977 and becoming a prize-winner at the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1978.

As a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Tonkünstler Orchestra Vienna, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Helsinki Philharmonic, and the Kirov Orchestra St. Petersburg. He has collaborated with distinguished conductors and has appeared in concert halls and festivals throughout Europe and beyond.

Alongside his international concert career, Naum Grubert is a highly respected piano pedagogue. He has taught at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, and many of his students have become prizewinners at national and international competitions.

Course fee: €150 per participant
